graduation

The day is finally here- our oldest son has graduated from high school! With the graduation party coming up in 7 days at our home, so we were wondering (my wife and I) if we could ask the advice of other parents on how to throw a great party.

Congratulations to the Class of 2012! We're so proud of you all and know that you're getting ready to take the next steps in your lives. Your parents are proud of you all too.

This weekend is High School Graduation weekend. We wish to congratulate all graduates in the class of 2011 and good luck to all your future endeavors. Some area schools have already graduated but most commencements will take place this weekend. Keep reading for the complete list of graduations. Please remember to celebrate responsibly.

In April, I emceed a "Walk-'N-Roll" fundraiser event for the Spina Bifida Association of Northeastern N.Y., so when I saw this story, I had to blog about it. This one actually made me feel very happy when I read about it.

I always like to get the Reading, Writing and Rhyming progam out there toward the end of the school  year to see if we can capture (in song) the excitement of moving up to the next grade level.  Remember those days?   Well, these kids are ready!  They'll tell you about it in song.

Most of the time, I definitely do not feel my age, which is 52. This isn’t a bad thing.
