Don't get me wrong, I love Girl Scout cookies. Over the years, I have purchased hundreds of boxes and in turn helping and supporting the Girl Scouts. But I have a huge problem with which cookie won the most popular.
Scouting was a part of my growing up, and, although I'm sure I resisted going to all of the meetings, I ended up enjoying learning how to do important things like CPR and tying knots (I still remember how to make a sheepshank---anybody?).
Juliette Gordon Low founded The Girl Scouts in Savannah Georgia in 1912. Here it is, almost 100 years later, and the girls of that very organization are no longer allowed to sell their famous Girl Scout Cookies on the sidewalk in front of the house.
