It's no secret that us New Yorkers LOVE fair food. But why should you have to wait until fair season to eat your favorite foods? Well, now you don't!

One of the favorite things about the Great New York State Fair is the creative fair food. There's a new one this year in a cool cup that'll leave you hot.

If you have been missing all the great foods at our local fairs, this is the event for you.

The Altamont Fair may not be happening, but that doesn't mean you have to miss out on your favorite fair foods.

I've been to plenty of fairs in my day. I like to gravitates towards the food on a stick section. There's just something about grilled meat on a stick that is so delicious. Of course, I also have to head towards the fried food as well. It's a fair. You have to indulge. So, when I went to the Saratoga County Fair on Wednesday night, I did just that.

First Girl Scouts made my week - or at least I thought that they did with the announcement Thursday of not one, but two S'mores based cookies coming to their line in 2017. Now, Hostess really is being the hostess with the mostest (see what I did there?) and bringing deep fried twinkies to the freezer aisle!

If I could eat all of the fair food, I would. Every. Single. Thing. That's why I went to the Schohairie Sunshine Fair in Cobleskill on Friday.

One great summer thing in the Albany area is the fairs. Next week from August 16 – 21, it’s time for my favorite – The Altamont Fair. I’m not sure why it’s always been my favorite, but it is.

This is fair season in the Albany area! Some have already come and gone, others are just getting ready to gear up. I have no allegiance whatsoever to any fair at all, but I do have allegiance to fair food!
