Very exciting times at the Reading, Writing and Rhyming Tour.  Thanks to a great long time sponsor, Hannaford Supermarkets, one lucky school is going to win a $200 gift card that they can use in any way they please.  (But I can't tell you how, cuz it's a secret)

On Wednesday, I visited The Bethlehem Children's School and spent some time writing and recording a song with the elementary and middle school kids.  One of the unique things about this school is the multi-age classrooms.   Kids in grades 1 through 5 are grouped together in the Elementary class, and grades 6 through 8 are grouped together in the Middle School class.  I didn't work with the younger

How many years is it, Ms Pink?  I'm losing track.  We've been working together for a long time with the Reading, Writing and Rhyming program and it continues to amaze me just how great her classes are.   Here's yet another example.  They broke the friendly and cutsey-ometers this time!

Woestina Elementary School in Rotterdam, NY is in a tough spot.  Looks like they might possibly close the school and consolidate.  Unfortunately,  it's becoming the way of the world!
