For many fans of the iconic DC Comic book character, Batman, Kevin Conroy was the man that brought the animated Dark Knight to life. Conroy's deep, gravely voice that became synonymous with Gotham's super hero. Children and adults alike, shared a love of Conroy's verbal portrayal of Bruce Wayne and his vigilante alter ego. Kevin Conroy died on Thursday in Manhattan at the age of 66.

There are always lots of surprises at Comic Con and this year has been no exception. The latest surprise is the supposed leak of a trailer for Warner Brother's movie "Suicide Squad". This so seems like something you would see on the CW but in fact the latest TV installment in the superhero genre will be on CBS this fall. Supergirl, played by Melissa Benoist,  is coming to the small screen and it makes me wonder what you think of the idea.

It is amazing what movie makers are doing today, bringing all of our childhood heroes to life in such a convincing way. I can't even imagine what my childhood would have been like if I could have seen the superheroes or the fantasy novel characters I read about on the big screen as good if not better than my own imagination. I think for sure I might have gone into movie making.

I saw "The Dark Knight Rises" on Friday and loved it. DC Comics did a great job with the Bat Man trilogy and now kicks off a Superman reboot. The first trailer for "The Man Of Steel" debuted before The Dark Knight.
