Everyone had their own way of healing and patriotism in the wake of September 11, 2001. As host of GNA's evening request show during this time, I remember so many songs that everyone just needed to hear. This list of 15 songs were popular requests and dedications during that tough time in America.  I hope you'll take a moment to reflect and remember as you listen to these compelling patriotic song

Happy Veterans Day to all! I thought since it was a day to thank the men and women who have served and are currently serving this great country of ours that I would break out a song to go along with this day.

I just thought I'd shake up the gray matter a bit. Since we let you know about WGNA Countryfest 2011, let's go back to the very first act, at the very first Countryfest, in 1994.
