Many us have visited this popular and picturesque Capital Region hiking trail, but amidst concerns of safety, it's in jeopardy of not being open to the public come Memorial Day weekend.

I'm sure you've gotten a scam phone call before and written it off as nothing, but what if the person on the other line seems to know information about your family?

Imagine answering a call from an unknown phone number and hearing "Daddy, Daddy....please help me!" Followed by the voice of a man who claims to have kidnapped your child, asking for ransom money and threatening injury if you don't follow suit.  The thought alone is enough to send chills up your spine, making even the most attentive parents wonder if their child truly is in harms way.  Y

Luckily, I've never been to an amusement park where I've been stuck on a ride or anyone got seriously injured but that's always a risk. Thankfully, after this 14 year old girl almost fell off the Sky Ride, Six Flags Great Escape employees acted quickly to minimize damage.
