As Crossgates Mall continues to change into an entertainment destination, a new "local craft" restaurant will be moving into the mall.

A promotion at one store in Crossgates Mall had such long lines, the store was forced to stop the promotion before all customers could take part. The company is apologizing for the inconvenience.

Crossgates Mall, Aviation Mall, Colonie Center, Stuyvesant Plaza, and Clifton Park Center are just of a few of the many shopping malls and outlets we have here in the Capital Region.  While this list is certainly debatable (and surely bound to annoy a few) a recent survey ranked 25 of the very best that upstate New York has to offer.  Three local malls not only made the list, but were in the top 1

It seems like we are constantly becoming aware of our information being hacked and then sold to an outside source. Well it has happened again and this time it affects a department store inside Crossgates Mall.

There are six of these mall accessory stores in and around the Capital Region. Chances are you or someone you know got their ears pierced here and now they have filed for bankruptcy in hopes to stay open.

An Investigation is currently being done by New York State Police regarding what is being reported as an apparent suicide that took place at Crossgates Mall.

The online shopping trend is really no longer a trend and has lead to less foot traffic in our local malls. Next thing you know some of our favorite stores are closing up shop.

Given how this situation shook our community back in November, I'm surprised by the outcome from Friday when the jury came back after deliberating.

Tasheem Maeweather. The name might sound familiar for some and ingrained in the brain of others who were at Crossgates Mall back in November when gunfire rang out. Maeweather, the alleged shooter wasn't in custody until a couple of days after the shooting which left people concerned that danger was still looming. In December Maeweather was sentenced to 9-years in state prison by Judge Peter Lynch

It has been 33 years since the doors of Crossgates opened to the public, how much has changed?

For those who live here we may pass these daily and not bat an eye, to tourists these things are essential stops.

I know what you're thinking, "how about some stores filling those vacant spots within the mall?" I know. I think they're currently working on that with murals plastered on the white walls asking us to guess who's coming soon. So, time will tell on what amazing shopping opportunities they do bring us.
