Every year I have the pleasure of hosting bus trips to see artists that don't often play in the Capital Region.  I'm happy to report that our next big trip is to see American Music Legend Willie Nelson!

I recently had the chance to visit with one of the newest members of the Country Music Hall of Fame, Jean Shepard.  Considering she's the only living artist to have a No. 1 hit from 1953, this was quite an honor!

There are only a handful of entertainers left from the 1960's still recording and touring, and an even smaller number of that elite group actually sound good and are even acknowledged by the industry!  In the summer of 2010, I had the chance to be a guest at a Loretta Lynn concert at Turning Stone Resort and it was one of the best concerts I've ever seen from an artist in their 70s.  Now, in 2011,

I am happy to report that the Country Music Hall of Fame has announced the 2011 inductees.  Opry legend Jean Shepard, Songwriter Bobby Braddock, and superstar Reba McEntire are joining the elite list that line the walls of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville.
