Tonight's the night when local heroes swap badges for basketballs, all to lend a hand to kids fighting cancer. You won’t want to miss this heartwarming event.

The 'Saratoga Horses' which is made up of Saratoga County police officers, firefighters, and other first responders, will gather to play a game of baseball to help a local family after a deadly fire at their home. Local firefighters were on the scene the night of the fire and told News 10 ABC 'immediately they knew this ballgame would be a benefit for the family...

This is September,  and  I'll admit –there are a ton of fundraisers to announce. Every one of them is as important as the next, and this  is no exception,  especially because there is a personal connection.

This looks like a really fun event, and for a great cause in the Capital Region.

It's amazing how a quick turn of events can change your life forever.  I read the story and felt it was really necessary to promote this charity event happening September 15th at the Italian-American Club, 203 Newell Street, Pittsfield Mass.

If you've been to a GNA live event you've probably met Bob Mulheren, he and his wife Pam are two of the sweetest people you'll ever meet. They are the friend you call when you need help and know they will be there. So let's be there for them. Bob is fighting cancer and trying to keep his family a float. Come eat pancakes and raise money to these guys out.

Charity's R US here at the Sean and Richie Show.  There are certainly plenty of them these days, big and small.  We've certainly covered the big ones, but alot of times the small ones get swallowed up.  Here's a great one that helps kids who can't afford to join football and cheerleading leagues.  The Charity Dog Wash!

Wack, or as his friends up north call him "Wacker" is a great guy. Wack Nolan puts on a huge fundraiser with his friends each year called "Wacks Ride For Wishes".

This is a great event, and an important one to boot.  It supports the Seton Health Foundation locally, and face it, there's nothing more crucial than having health care available when you need it!  So come to their gala, donate money and have a great time in Saratoga!
