It's the 12th annual Curtis Lumber PetAPalooza! There will be hundreds of adoptable animals available from area shelters and rescue groups. The animals include dogs, cats, bunnies, and more. PetAPalooza is happening Saturday, June 18th at select Curtis Lumber locations!

There is a bill proposed that would ban the sale of puppies from puppy mills in New York state. It would cover most pets sold in pet stores across the state.

With the nicer weather, comes more animals out and about and more potential for them to be in danger. Want to do your part to help?

The state of California will crack down on the puppy mill industry by enforcing a new law that will forbid the retail sale of dogs, cats, and bunny rabbits from pet stores.  As a result, California will be the first state to do make it illegal to sell these animals unless they're from a shelter.   Should New York do it next?
