Sometimes the short ones are the best.  This entire little ditty is only :30 long, but it didn't have to be any longer.  It says it all.  Great job from the kids at Taconic Hills Elementary as we try to spread the message that bullying is WRONG!  Hear their creation below.

We're doing something very special on the SR&B show- that's short for Sean Richie and Bethany, by the way.    I'm especially proud to be a part of this.  We are on a mission to spread the anti-bullying message to as many as we can using the power of the airwaves. Here's what we have in store.

Albany County District Attorney David Soares and Dr. Phil Fusco from the Academy For Character Education at the Sage Colleges were special guests on this past edition of Capital Region Sunday to discuss a crucial societal problem: Bullying. They also have an incredible new "WORDS" initiative that they would like to introduce.  Hear the re-broadcast below

Leave it to Mrs. Yager from Schoharie Elementary to come through when I was looking for a class to create a anti-bullying song to kick off our Anti Bullying Week on the Sean, Richie and Bethany Show.   Much appreciated – and you should hear the result!

An 11-year-old boy that has autism from North Adams was bullied last week by some very mean kids.

This was quite the group.  Actually it was two classes together, and they were great, well behaved and very creative.  Pinewood Rocks!

January 12th is officially International Kiss A Ginger Day! You are supposed to kiss every ginger person you come across on this day! Kiss A Ginger Day was started in 2009 by Derek Forgie as a Facebook group intended to counter the November 2008 creation of the "Kick A Ginger" Facebook campaign that resulted in bullying and assult at schools...

The crusade against bullying continues, and there's no grade level too low to expose them to the evils of brutally picking on each other.  Mrs. Pink's class at Jefferson Elementary School in Schenectady will now perform do their anti-bullying parody song

I get these all the time from the Reading, Writing and Rhyming Tour and I feel very badly that people don't get a chance to see them.

Great school, great teachers and great time. Those words best describe my visit to Menands School   on the Reading, Writing and Rhyming Tour.

This was a first for me.  I've had this in my head for a long time.  Let's write a song with a small group in 1 hour (as usual), then have an assembly program later on where they sing their creation for the entire school (with everyone in the auditorium singing along!)  This was my trial run...
