A Summer camp in Schoharie County suffered a massive structure fire on Wednesday afternoon resulting in 17 fire departments being called to the scene. Thankfully, no one was injured, but officials say it's a total loss.  The camp had made news recently after claims were made that it was operating under conditions dangerous during the pandemic with camp goers not wearing masks or social distancing.

Thousands of Capital Region residents are without power this morning according to National Grid.  Many of the power outages reported are in the Broadalbin area, which appears to be the epicenter of the disruption.

A report from the Times Union says that Grandma's Pies, the iconic Colonie restaurant and pie shop, may have served up it's last slice of down home goodness on Sunday.  Sad news for the longstanding restaurant that many people here in the Capital Region have a strong nostalgic connection to.

Parents of students in the Shenendehowa School District are confused and somewhat bewildered following an announced by the Governor on Monday.  He claims that Shen was on the list of schools that didn't submit their plans for in-person learning by the deadline of July 31st.  The school district took to social media on Monday to refute the claims, even showing visual proof that they not only submit

We're getting more answers about the fire that engulfed Rachel Ray's Lake Luzerne house last night. Brian and Chrissy from the GNA Morning Show talked to a 4th generation local firefighter who arrived on the scene shortly after he heard the distress call go out over the scanner...

It is being reported that Rachel Ray's Lake Luzerne house in on fire and that firefighters are currently battling the blaze. Ray, the celebrity chef and talk show host grew up in Warren County and still has a home here in the Capital Region.  Here's the latest on what is being reported.

Imagine going on vacation with your family and then settling in on your new confines only to discover a giant rattlesnake trapped under a tote. How quickly would your vacation be over? This happened to a family while vacationing recently in Warren County. I don't know that it cut their vacation short, but it surely had them rattled for a while.

Canceled. Rescheduled. Canceled again. Is 2020 ever going to end? On Tuesday, the Town of Clifton Park hit residents with the ol' double whammy by canceling fireworks that were rescheduled for Labor Day weekend. These were the fireworks originally canceled for the 4th of July.
