A local soccer coach is being scrutinized by the school superintendent and board of education after a team dinner decision, according to the Times Union. Following a boys sectional loss in high school soccer back in November, the Lake George coach took his team to a Hooters.

Over the weekend, my eight-year-old, Ryan, tried something new. He danced on the stage in front of a thousand people with his friends in a dance recital. Some people were surprised when I told them that he was going to be in a recital, but we want him to try everything.

It's a legit question - and nobody is looking to parent shame anyone -  so let's try and treat this as a 'safe place' for discussion.  This topic came up on the show this morning, and I'd like to know your thoughts. Would you buy your little boy a toy that is marketed towards little girls?
