boston marathon

I'm a runner. At least, I like to tell myself I am. I've run a half-marathon before but even running for that distance seemed incredible to me. I don't know if I could ever complete 26.2miles. The Boston Marathon is a completely different monster and the people who take part in that aren't human.

This is a tough one, because I like Chris Rock a lot, and I realize that he can be "edgy" and controversial, but I really question his content in this Saturday Nite Live monologue.  What say you?

If anyone should run out and play the lottery, it's this guy.  He survived two massive disasters!

Today, April 22, at 2:50pm, marks exactly one week since the tragedy unfolded at the Boston Marathon.

In the wake of the tragedy in Boston, we'd like to take a moment to honor the Albany area participants of the Boston Marathon.

Today I visited yet another elementary school in the area.  I wrote a song with them and then recorded 20 kids in another group doing the Pledge Of Allegience.  They were first graders.  They were so cute, funny and innocent.  Couldn't have had a better day.  Then I turned on CNN, and I'm sure they're going to see it too.

Fire in the JFK Library has been extinguished. The ground stop on planes heading into Logan Airport has been lifted. Secret Service has expanded security at the White House following the attacks in Boston. The Justice Department is being directed by the Attorney General to put all of its resources into investigating the bombings...
