Once again, right place at the right time. I was standing backstage at WGNA's Countryfest, minding my own business when guess who walked right by me? Get ready, girls! I have video for ya.

Just before taking the stage at Countryfest 2014 Saturday, Jake Owen was presented with a very sweet and special surprise to celebrate his hit song "Beachin'" making No. 1 on country radio charts.

So this February I went down to the Daytona 500 and it turned out Jake Owen was also at the race to perform. I was stoked because I love Jake and his music: both are just fun and easygoing. I was very fortunate, however, because he invited me to come see him the night before the race where he was doing an acoustic show for Budweiser and his buddy, Kevin Harvick.
