Will Babies“R”Us Open in Hudson Valley Kohl's Stores?

A major department store is trying to capitalize on the closing of Babies R Us. The store has locations in and around the areas of where Babies R Us stores have closed so they are banking on the customers from those shuttered stores.

When Toys R Us and Babies R Us closed their stores, customers were left scrambling to redeem gift cards. Now another store is stepping up and will accept those unused Toys R Us and Babies R Us gift cards. Good news there are four locations in and around the Capital Region.

When Toys 'R Us and Babies 'R Us closed their doors, their gift cards were only valid for a few more days. Well now there is another store that can exchange those gift cards so you can use them, but the deal only lasts until Thursday.

The "Greater Trade-In Event" starts this weekend at two major retailers. It allows customers to turn in used baby gear to get new gear at a discount. There is also an incentive to donate kids clothing to needy families too.

Toys R Us, which includes their other company Babies R Us have filed for Chapter 11 and means the closing of up to 182 stores, some of them are local.
