The Capital Region has many athletes that have won championships. We can now add another one to the growing list. This time it's an axe thrower from Rensselaer.

Two local axe throwers,  including the co-owner of the The Lazy Axe indoor axe throwing facility in Albany, completed a successful weekend at the World Axe Throwing Championships in Atlanta, GA.

There are quite a few axe throwing places coming to the Albany area but it seemed as if north of the Twin Bridges was being left out. That's until Adirondack Axe opened their doors.

Do you watch Game of Thrones and wish you could wield an axe with such skill? With this new place opening up in Colonie, you may be able to practice to take on an army of House Stark or House Targaryen.
