This isn't the first time that ATVs and snowmobiles have been allowed to drive, like cars, on the village streets in Lake George. However, not everyone is happy about it.

All hours of the day, you can see and hear illegal dirt bikes and ATV's screaming up and down the Lark Street area of Albany. They travel in packs - their faces covered and vehicles unregistered - sometimes just 2 or 3 of them but I've seen as many as 10-12 at a clip. Albany needs to do something about people illegally (and dangerously) riding their ATV's up and down certain heavily populated streets. If the city doesn't address the situation soon, an innocent bystander is going to get seriously injured. I was able to capture part of their reckless rumble on video.
