Hey, I'm just the messenger here, but apparently (and allegedly) a disabled person is out one dog, shot by police officers, and now he is suing.  (Dog pictured is not the actual animal- this one is very nice!)

A man is in jail after he allegedly used a sword to strike a woman and a dog. It happened on Friday in Jefferson, NY. in Schoharie County.

A 65-year-old Cobleskill man has been arraigned after being charged with four counts of aggravated animal cruelty.

I'm not sure that this guy shouldn't be nominated for Neighbor of the Year. Listen, I know all too well that sometimes a neighborhood dog or cat can be a nuisance. I get it. But I think the thing that some people forget about a neighborhood is that it is a community. If you wish to be free of neighbors, their children or their pets, don't live in a "neighborhood!"

A Schenectady man is going to jail for a year because he kept beating a dog. The pooch was a Great Dane.
