The memories live on, but the property is run down. After 25-plus years, look at what beloved Frontier Town has become. Sad to think that this once was a bustling amusement park. Under new plans, they are hoping to transform the rodeo arena into a modern one with a grandstand for horse shows, and barrel races, and to hold country music concerts.

This place was incredible! It had rides, arcade games, and plenty of activities on the lake itself.

Every time I drive up the Northway, I see the run down ruins of a park that I loved to go to as a kid. I have so many fond memories of this place and here's hoping there is someone out there that can either bring it back, or make it an amazing place to visit again.

One of the best parts of summer is heading to an amusement park. You’ve been to a few amusement parks in your day and been on the same rides over and over again. It can get old after awhile and you wish someone would come up with ideas to spice up these boring rides.

It’s open! A tradition in our area is Hoffman’s Playland. Odds are, you went there as a kid and now you are taking your kids there!

This tragedy just occurred today out on Long Island.  A few carnival rides (bounce houses) caught a huge updraft and literally blew across a field.  And there were 13 injuries!

The summer season brings out the crowds to a variety of adventure parks, theme parks, and amusement parks.  We have some great parks that are not too far away.  If you're going, it's important to follow some basic safety guidelines.
