Wow, this news blew my mind. Don McLean was arrested this morning in Maine for domestic violence. You may know Don from his super huge hit, "American Pie" from 1971. He recently sold the manuscript and notes from the song for $1.2 million. He also did one of my favorite songs of all time, the sweet and haunting "Starry Starry Night."
