It's close to that time of year when the county fairs start coming into town. I always enjoy the fairs for some great rides, games and all the great fair food. But what I think I enjoy the most is the great country  music you can enjoy whether it be local or national acts.

According to The Albany County Sheriff’s Department is, a 21 year old man from Altamont was arrested on charges of DWI and drug possession.

On Sunday morning, 20-year-old Cody Lassonde from Altamont, was arrested by the Albany County Sheriff's Office for forcing his way into a home on Veeder Road in Guilderland, and demanded money for delivering beer kegs to the homeowner.

So the big news after this weekend was the wedding of Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott and Chris Tyrrell.  The two got married Saturday at the Appel Inn in Altamont
