82 years ago, a debilitating disease took down one of the greatest Major League Baseball players of all-time at the young age of 38. Today, the baseball media world watches one of their own suffer at 29-years old with the same disease ALS, still with few answers.

As I mentioned  any previous blog, I had the pleasure of providing music and hosting a walk this weekend for ALS in association with St. Peter's Hospital.  At the very end of the event, I met a very inspirational family

I provide the music for a very special walk every year for St. Peters Hospital.  I do it  for several very personal reasons.

And I accepted it gladly in honor of my late father who was a victim of this nasty disease, ALS.

I would love to see you at this event, especially if you know someone or is related to a person who has been been afflicted with ALS, like my late father for example!

ALS  stands for Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. It's basically Lou Gehrig's Disease.  Many, many Americans suffer from it and succumb to it.  I know of two cases right off the bat
