I don't tell this story to receive praise or to make me seem better than anyone else in the world, in fact the reason I wanted to share this moment with you is quite the opposite. I tell this story to remind everyone that every time we interact with another person we could potentially be making a real and lasting  impact on their life...

Recently I wrote a blog about how it seems that I truly am feeling the Christmas Spirit this year and that I was thankful because I really do think now more than ever the WORLD needs Christmas. I think we all need to feel a little warmth in our hearts and help others to feel it as well, so i was THRILLED when I saw an old friend post this on her Facebook tonight.

I love it when kids do amazing things. It really gives me a lot of hope for our future when there are so many other stories out there that give us doubt. I also love that our friends at News10 ABC did this story so I could hear some GOOD local news about good people.

Say what you want about Hooters and the girls who work there but I can tell you that some of the girls that I have met there are really warm, smart and generous people. This particular waitress at a Hooters in Georgia however, may be the best ever.

Sometimes I have to be honest, I think what in the world has happened to society. The news is full of horrible stories about horrible people doing horrible things. That's why I just love a story about someone who cares about others and goes out of their way to help another person out. We had an amazing example of that today on the Sean and Richie Show.
