What has been considered a suspicious circumstance forced the Gloversville City Hall to be closed for part of Friday morning.

On Thursday night around 9:30 p.m., Gloversville Police stated that a man surrendered a quantity of narcotics and then asked them to arrest him.

They also stated that he gave them the keys to his vehicle and told them to search his vehicle. The officers asked him to accompany them when they went to search the vehicle, but the man allegedly refused. That prompted a call to the bomb squad.

Detectives interviewed the man, Jordan Polk, who allegedly told them that he was very dissatisfied with the government and society. It was also discovered there were some alarming factors in Polk’s past.

According to the story from News 10 ABC, the bomb squad and Gloversville Police didn’t find any bombs or explosives when they searched Polk’s vehicle. Polk was arrested and faces felony drug charges.
