The police have someone in custody. On Monday in an attempt to stop the suspect, he tried to get away. That pursuit was short lived.

Schenectady Police caught up to 27-year-old Marchane A. Turner and arrested him. In addition of being accused of robbing the bank, Turner also allegedly had some crack cocaine and a fake gun on him.

In the article from the Times Union, Turner was facing several charges - Fourth Degree Grand Larceny, Third and Fourth Degree Criminal Possession Of A Controlled Substance, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation Of A Vehicle, and Reckless Driving.

There’s no information if the fake gun was used during the robbery.
