Later that same day we reported another story of a Glenville Police Dispatcher helping to deliver another baby, this time at home.

Now there’s been another dispatcher assisted baby delivery. This time it was on March 14, when Glenville Police Dispatcher Donald Gerding helped out another new dad by talking him through the delivery. The mom delivered the baby boy before an ambulance arrived. According to the story from News 10 ABC, mother and child (and dad) are all doing fine.

In honor of the three dispatchers and one Glenville Police Lieutenant helping to deliver the babies, there will be a Glenville Town Board Meeting on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. where they will all get recognition for their efforts. The people that will get the honors will be Public Safety Dispatcher Laurie Fredericks, Lieutenant Rick Conley, Dispatchers JoAnn McPhail and Donald Gerding.
