Rumors Swirl about Country Star’s Alleged Home on Sacandaga Lake
When a photo of what appeared to be a private helicopter landed on Sacandaga Lake around the 4th of July, locals began to wonder, "Who's in town?
Was it a wealthy resident flying to their private, secluded retreat? Or was it perhaps someone more famous, like a professional athlete, a movie star, or even a country superstar?
On July 4th, a photo of a fancy, USA-themed, private helicopter was published to a Facebook group called "Great Sacadanga Lake Life" by a woman named Deborah Wright, and her caption read: "Someone had an impressive mode of transportation for their lake visit!"

Who Was It?
Naturally, people with local knowledge of the lake offered suggestions as to who would own this helicopter, which appears to be a Robinson R44.
These helicopters can range in price from $350,000 to $720,000, depending on factors like model year, condition, and features.
Even a rental of one of these bad boys could cost up to $1,500 per hour, so regardless of who's flying it, they have loot.
No Shortage of Suggestions
Some people on Facebook suggested it was country star Luke Bryan, who has professed his love for Upstate New York many times during his sold-out shows at SPAC over the years.
People in the area have said that throughout the years, Luke Bryan has been spotted at a local diner, even at Hannaford. However, unfortunately, we haven't found anything concrete that suggests he either has a home or vacations regularly in the Adirondacks.
Was it Luke Bryan?
We had hoped it would be true, but as of now, there's nothing concrete that would lead anyone to suggest that Bryan, along with his wife and five kids, has property in Upstate New York.
The confusion could stem from Luke's love for lakes, and a very popular body of water in his home state of Georgia called Lake Sinclair, which is similar in name to Sinclair Point, located on Sacandaga Lake.
So, while we'd love to say that one of pop culture's biggest stars has a home in Upstate, New York, we'll have to accept that he hasn't moved here...yet.
But he's welcome anytime!
