Some local police agencies had a busy Friday night after some businesses received bomb threats.

In one case, there was a bomb threat made to the Dollar General store in Schenectady.

In a story from CBS 6 Albany, according to a manager of the Dollar General store in Scotia, that store also received a bomb threat around 7:00 p.m.

Another General Store, this time in Stillwater, brought Stillwater Police, along with other agencies, to the store to investigate. Stillawater Police posted a Facebook message to advised people to keep away from the Price Chopper Plaza in Mechanicville. A later post have an all clear message.

All stores were eventually cleared by police, and an investigation is continuing. There hasn’t been any information as to whether or not these bomb threats were related.
