New York Man Suspected of Stealing Truck Out of Repair Shop, Can You Help?
I don't know too many people that enjoy bringing their vehicle to the shop for repair. Building something special or restoring a classic is one thing but when you have engine issues or need body work following an accident you start to think of the cost and inconvenience. Now, imagine you never get to drive your vehicle home from that garage visit.
A New York man is wanted by New York State Police in connection with vehicle theft but wait until you hear how this car was stolen. It's almost as if this person gave their truck away.
According to a Facebook post, the New York State Police are seeking your help in locating a man that has been named in a stolen vehicle complaint. The individual's name is Carlos Vera and, at one time, was from the Verplanck area in Cortland, NY.
Carlos Vera recently owned C&K Little Garage on Madeline Avenue in Cortlandt. Prior to closing the business for good, Vera was working on a customers 2012 Ford F150. Upon closing the business, Vera allegedly left the area with that customer’s pickup truck.

According to New York State DMV, If your vehicle is stolen you should report it to the police and your auto insurance company as soon as possible. The police will enter the information into national and state auto theft computer records.
