We asked and you answered! Here are the best spots to get shawarma in the Capital Region according to you.

As much as I love pizza, subs, and burgers sometimes I want to mix things up with food that is a little bit more special. Not to say those other food aren't, but sometimes you got to treat yourself to something different.

For me, when I want to treat myself I am looking for Middle Eastern and Mediterranean style food. The reason it's special to me is because I never had it growing up and the flavors of this style are like no other food I've ever tried.

Sure, some Italian and Mediterranean can be blended, but when you have something that's super authentic it is really hard to beat.

My personal favorite place right now is Aria Kabab on Central Avenue. The beef is so good and however they make the rice is perfection. Plus the salad they serve always adds a nice freshness to it. When I asked you guys where you thought the best places were I was really happy to see this spot mentioned a couple of times.

Here were some of the other places you guys ranked as your favorite places to grab some grub!
