Adam Sandler Shouts Out Capital Region Pizza Place On Stage

Adam Sandler brought his comedy show to Albany's MVP arena on Tuesday night and needless to say everyone made some amazing memories. This was the place to be on September 16th and if you missed out you are having some serious FOMO today.

As many of us do when we're on stage these days, Sandler decided to snap a quick photo of himself and the very loud and rowdy Albany crowd. While he was snapping that selfie he gave a big shoutout to Romo's pizza. You can see that moment in the video below.

When it comes to great pizza places in the Capital Region Romo's is always on the top of the list. They have been one of my favorite places to grab a slice or a whole pie for years. Whether it's a traditional round or a 12 cut square, it's some of the best pizza in Upstate New York. It's even an award winner in the terms of the world pizza championships.

This isn't the first major shoutout for Romo's (besides myself literally yelling at everyone to go to this place). Romo's had quite the moment with Barstool sports a few years ago.

So listen, if you have yet to try Romo's in Glenmont, get out there and do it. Anthony, the owner of Romo's, has another restaurant that recently opened in Voorheesville called Anthony's by Romo's Pizza where Anthony shows off even more of his amazing cooking skills. Good luck finding a seat on a busy Friday or Saturday night, by the way. It gets pretty jammed up, and that's a good thing.
