Is The Catskill Game Farm Haunted? Local Paranormal Group Investigates
The Catskill Game Farm was America's first private zoo and a popular tourist destination. Sadly it's been closed since 2006.
Are there spirits still on the abandoned grounds keeping a tab on things? Local paranormal groups had the opportunity to investigate recently and came across some interesting evidence.
Full Moon Paranormal Investigates Haunted Hudson Valley Hotspots
If you're into the world of ghosts, spirits, or demons, there's a chance you follow local paranormal investigation groups.
Full Moon Paranormal, is an all female paranormal investigation team based out of the Hudson Valley. You may see their name popup on spooky events across the region year-round.
Nicole Chivattoni, Lisa Lascola, Susan Page, and Stephanie Smith run the show at Full Moon Paranormal. The group was founded by by Lascola back in 2021 as she wanted to give "people a way to learn about and experience the paranormal."
Over the last few years the ladies have investigated alleged haunted locations in the region and Chivattoni tells us that there are 2 that stick out as some of the most haunted.
Chivattoni writes:
The Chance Theater in Poughkeepsie is high up on the list! The Borland House in Montgomery is one of our favorites as well. We can usually count on the spirit Henry to come out and say hi whenever we’re there.
If you visit The Borland House in the future make sure you tell Henry we said hi!
Haunted Findings at The Catskill Game Farm
Full Moon Paranormal took part in a recent event with photography company Wild Abandon and The Catskill Game Farm.
It was a Halloween Gathering "for creatives" called Nocturnal Creatures that gave guests an opportunity to see The Catskill Game Farm in a different light.
We spoke with Nicole about her experiences at the Game Farm during their investigation and it sounds like there are some lingering spirits.
She tells us "I think I would have to say the coolest evidence we collected was in the basement of the old Rhino house where a motion activated light panel kept going off in response to our questions."

Nicole went on to explain that the cemetery "is particularly active" too. It sounds like Full Moon Paranormal will be visiting The Catskill Game Farm again in the future, we'll be looking forward to a full recap of any returning spirits or energies.
Full Moon Paranormal was joined by Frankie Adao from the Parasight Experience. If you'd like the chance to explore the paranormal check out Full Moon Paranormal on Facebook or Instagram for their next investigation.
Full Moon Paranormal will be hosting a Victorian Christmas Party Investigation at the Lightclub Shoppe in Warwick.
