Charcuterie boards have become one of the most in-demand appetizers at social gatherings. They're not just for snobby wine and cheese parties anymore, and are welcome and enjoyed at any type of event, anywhere (full disclosure - we even brought one to our tailgate this past weekend).
Over the last few years, charcuterie boards have evolved from just a throwing few random snacks on a cutting board. Now, the fancier, and more elaborate the charcuterie display at your party, the better. Some legitimately look like art and take hours to arrange (and cost a pretty penny).
On the flip side, “single” charcuterie boards became a big thing during the pandemic. It was perfect for those of us who missed going to parties and restaurants but wanted to feel fancy watching Real Housewives in their yoga pants.
Sure, you could try to replicate the complicated works of art from “Charcuterie Influencers” on Instagram (yeah…that’s a real thing), but if you don’t have hours of free time and hundreds of bucks to spend, keeping it simple is just fine.

- Fruits and/or veggies
- A small bowl of nuts
- A side of dip or a spread to “jus” it up
