The "Daily Dilemma" on the Sean and Richie Show is featured every weekday morning at 6:40am. We and the listeners take on someone's problems and try to offer different perspectives. Now, these don't have to be huge problems- it could just be something bothering you or a friend, or it could be some little thing you and another just can't agree on. If you have a dilemma to share we'd love to hear it just e-mail us here at the show.

Here is today's Daily Dilemma:

My latest battle with my daughter is about her prom! I am sure I am not the only parent facing this right now, so maybe you and the listeners can help me sort this out. Is it just me or does it seem like you are paying for a wedding instead of a prom? There’s the dress, the shoes, the hair, the make up, the ticket, the limo, and the after prom events! It’s easily over $500, and that is if I cut every cost that I can. I want my daughter to have the best memories of this time in her life and to enjoy being in High School, but where do you draw the line?

I know her boyfriend's family is much more well off than we are,  to be honest, we have  trouble keeping the bills paid and putting food on the table and gas in the car. A friend said to ask his parents if they could help cover some expense, but I simply cannot even imagine doing that.

I know it would destroy her, but I feel like I may have to not let her go. Are there others in this position? What are you going to do?
