New York has some of the most beautiful outdoor destinations in the nation. So how do we stack up against other states?

Thrillist recenly ranked all 50 United States based on their natural beauty, and New York came in at a respectable #22 on the list. Here's what the article had to say about New York:

'Consider: New York has three coasts (Lake Erie, Lake Ontario, and the Atlantic), and two distinct mountain ranges (the Catskills and the Adirondacks). It claims a slice of Lake Champlain and all of the Finger Lakes. Plus the prettier half of Niagara Falls'

You look at all of that, and everything New York has to offer is pretty impressive. We are very lucky to have so many great outdoor destinations.

California landed at #1 on the list, followed by Hawaii and Alaska at 2 and 3. How did our neighbors do? Vermont was ranked 19 and Massachusetts #30.
