Fugitive Arrested In Waterford Because Of Barking Dog
Waterford Police received a call on Sunday, November 17, about a barking dog.
Barking Dog
When the police responded to the call, they found a little more than a neighbor being annoyed. They found someone that had an arrest warrant from Florida.
In the story that I saw on News 10 ABC, 26-year-old Melissa L. Gilligan, the owner of the dog, was actually a fugitive from Justice, and on a Probation Warrant from the State Of Florida. That was because she had charges of Felony Battery Of A Police Officer In The Third Degree.
She will be extradited back to Florida, but until then, Gilligan will remain in Saratoga County Jail.
