Ester and J.R. – Steve Caporizzo’s Pet Connection
If you missed Pet Connection Today on the Sean and Richie Show, here is another chance for you to take a look at a couple of great pets up for adoption. Let's take a look at the pets featured today. Tune in every Thursday at 7:20am to hear the stories of two incredible (and adoptable!) pets. Ester
Ester: The good people of CAPP rescued me from a puppy mill in Ohio. I am a female about 1 year old. I am a Chihuahua/Pomeranian,and about 9 pounds. I can be very shy at first meeting, but I open up when I trust you. I love lots of treats. I would do best with another active/playful dog in the house. I like older (8 or older) children. I spent a lot of time with this girl. In fact, I was the person who pulled her and her sister (Stella) out of their cage and got them to Upstate NY. They were petrified…but have come such a long way and now deserve the very best in a loving home !
J.R.
J.R.: I am a 1 year old Beagle/MinPin mix, about 18 pounds. CAPP rescued me from a high kill shelter west of Albany. I am an energetic little guy who needs another dog to play with or an active family to keep me busy. I am too playful for most cats. I am very intelligent, learn quickly and like to be with you--laps are the BEST! When adopted, my new person and I will get two free training sessions from a local dog trainer!
If you are interested in either of these wonderful dogs please contact the Companion Animal Placement Program at 487-4587. Also, you can meet Ester at The Healthy Pet in N. Greenbush on Sat. from 11am-12:30pm.
