Clifton Park Getting An Olive Garden

The Olive Garden has been in Colonie at 178 Wolf Road for quite some time, and now Clifton Park will be getting one.

I was reading the Times Union the other day and saw a story about how Olive Garden is opening a restaurant in Clifton Park Center. The opening day is scheduled for Monday, April 16. They should do real well in Clifton Park.

The Colonie location does a fantastic business. The parking lot is almost always full, but it is a pretty good size place, so even though there are a lot of cars, there’s usually a table or two available. The Clifton Park location will be able to hold 240 diners. As far as workers, they’ll employ 155.

One of my favorite Olive Garden choices is the all you can eat salad, soup and breadsticks. It’s a great lunchtime choice. If you go to Olive Garden, what’s your favorite dish?
