The lights were bright over the football field at Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School Friday night for the Sectional game.  Sure, the football team won, but the real winners?  The community!

Because the staff, administration, and students there have got it right!  They were so welcoming to me as I checked out the game, the cheering section, and their growing pile of food for our High School Hunger Games.

While the students are busy collecting on their own, the Principal Tim Brunson gave the teachers a little incentive - if they bring in the specified amount of nonperishable food items today, they can skip the staff meeting!  Score!

This school is a definite contender in our Hunger Games competition.  If they keep up at this rate, they'll be scoring that party at Flight and those movie tickets!

And a big thanks to our sponsor Honest Weight Food Co-op!

Good luck Spartans!
