Ladies, have the Daisy Dukes ready, because Brantley Gilbert said he has a "soft spot" for them when asked about headlining the 2014 Taste of Country Festival!

Kevin Richards from our parter WGNA in Albany recently sat down with Brantley and talked about everything from his jewelry to how much he's looking forward to the second annual Taste of Country Festival at Hunter Mountain.

"Usually outdoor festivals - people have been tailgating all day - they got a couple of drinks in them, they're ready to party!" Brantley said. "To be honest with you, I got a special place in my heart for Daisy Dukes. God bless outside shows. It's always a good time, I'm really looking forward to it."

When asked about co-headliner Dierks Bentley, Brantley said he and Dierks both ride motorcycles and have a lot in common.

"We actually are working on a song together right now through text messages," Brantley said.

Maybe we can convince Brantley and Dierks to unveil country's first song written via texting at Hunter Mountain?
