April Hometown Hero Makes Miracles For Our Military

Melody is the Director of Veterans Miracle Center and when we called her to inform her that she was April's GNA Hometown Hero, she was incredibly grateful. But she was also in the midst of doing a million things for our Veterans and active military so we kept it rather brief. Please take a moment to listen to our call to Melody; it may inspire you to help out some true American heroes in a time of need.

Heres what nominator Kelly told GNA about her friend Melody:

I met Melody many years ago, she has worked tirelessly with are military, she started Christmas cards for our troops. The soldiers receive boxes of cards, treats and there are always special request, that Melody make sure it happens. All year Mel makes sure our military get packages from home. She also is the director at Veterans Miracle Center in Albany. This is a place near and dear to her heart. Veterans can go here to get hygiene, clothes, etc. Melody has always gone above and beyond for our troops.
