Yukon and Red – Steve Caporizzo’s Pet Connection

If you missed Pet Connection today on the Sean and Richie Show, here is another chance for you to take a look at a couple of great pets up for adoption. Let's take a look at the pets featured today. Tune in every Thursday at 7:20 a.m. to hear the stories of incredible (and adoptable!) pets.

Yukon is a very sweet and gentle Bernese Mountain dog/Rottweiler mix who has interacted well with people of all ages. He loves car rides and casual walks. Yukon likes female dogs and very small male dogs. He has learned not to harass his foster cat siblings too much, but he still needs a bit of supervision around them. Yukon would be great either as a only pet or with another dog who is as calm and low-key as he is. When Yukon is particularly happy, he smiles! Yukon is a Senior dog (approximately 8 - 9 years of age) and his adoption fee would be waived to a qualified senior citizen (65 years of age or over).

Red is a very handsome and well-mannered Bloodhound. He is a fit 'n trim 90 pounds and is believed to be 3-5 years old. Red is neutered, up to date on his shots, and micro-chipped.

Red's foster was told by his previous owner that Red was trained in Search & Rescue. He knows all of the standard commands and likely others related to S&R. He seems to get along with everyone: people/kids, cats, and other dogs.

Red is available for adoption or for foster (his current foster home is 1 hour away from us, which makes it harder to get him to adoption events).
