Your Cellphone Is A Cesspool Of Germs – But Now There’s Phone Soap [VIDEO]
You don't realize it, but that pesky little iPhone or Droid that you pick up 500 times a day could be infested with bacteria. In fact, it's been proven so. You can't take it into the bath with you - so what CAN you do?
According to an article on HuffingtonPost.com:
Mobile phones can carry nearly 500 times more bacteria than a toilet seat and 18 times more than the toilet handle. Perhaps even worse, 1 in 6 phones have traces of E. coli bacteria from fecal matter. And let’s not forget the nearly 20 percent of people who have actually dropped their phones in the toilet.
There is a product in development, however, that supposedly cleans your favorite little gadget. It's called Phone Soap. It uses UV light to sanitize the phone, and it also charges it at the same time.
So I guess wiping your phone on your pants is not good enough apparently. I hope this product comes to market soon, don't you? Do you worry about stuff like this? Maybe we should.
