You Can Now Report Government Misconduct

If you know of some New York State officials that might be doing something that they probably shouldn’t be, you can now let some know.

It’s a website (Reportmisconduct.ny.gov) or a telephone number (1-800-87-384427 “ETHICS”). The new New York State tip line has been set up by the New York State Joint Commission On Public Ethics.

In the story from WNYT, this is for people to report violations of lobby laws in New York State like Nepotism, improper gifts and sexual harassment. There are going to be ads posted at New York State facilities across the state, to promote the new tips line.
