Yankees Win With Overweight Pitchers- Levack Rant
April 15, 2011 9:49 AM The Yankees beat the Baltimore Orioles last night to take sole possession of first place in the AL East. It wasn’t pretty though as Phil Hughes had yet another rough outing. Lucky for him Portly Bartolo Colon was ready to carry both of their weights. In a side by side comparison I think you’ll see skinny guys can’t pitch.
After seeing this comparision I started thinking about other “hefty” Yankee pitchers.
In short the bigger they are the harder batters fall. Enjoy today’s Couch.
