Writing Down The Right Year

As we start our brand new year (oh, by the way, happy New Year), we’ll all be trying to start with a clean slate, and write down the correct year.

Wrong Year
Lou Roberts

It’s always my personal goal to not write down last year’s date. For example, those few checks that we still have to write, putting down 2011 and not 2010. This will also hold true for anything that needs to be dated when you write it. Since most of the stuff we need to do is done on a computer, this makes it a little bit tougher, since the computer will put the correct date on your document and you won’t be writing it.

I usually will have the correct year by the end of February 2010, or I mean 2011.
