If you're ever traveling on Troy Schenectady Road in Latham, west of the Northway, I'm sure that you've seen that ugly pink building, between a health complex and bank. It's the old Sebastian's.

It used to be a strip club, but has been vacant since the early 2000s. According to a story from WTEN, "the demolition has been years in the making, following many complaints from residents and battles between building owner Charles Rafferty and the town of Colonie." (Latham is part of the Town of Colonie)

Colonie has a new and stronger abandoned property law and Sebastian's is going to be the first building because of being the building that was most complained about.

I was just up in that area the other day and was curious about why that place was still there. You have all these new businesses and buildings popping up in that area and front and center, there's this old, pink, ugly building.
