24-year old Brianna Norton was driving her work van on Friday night when she swerved onto incoming traffic in a busy intersection. She was transporting two mentally handicapped passengers.

According to News 10, the accident happened at the intersection of Main Street and Horicon Avenue in Warrensburg.

She was driving while intoxicated when she struck several vehicles and then got the van stuck between a pickup truck and a concrete pole.

Police said they found bottles of alcohol inside the car and that she had been arrested for a prior DWI incident a few weeks ago.

Norton is charged with driving while intoxicated, failure to keep right, and having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle as well as several other charges.

Thankfully, no one was injured at the time of the incident.
